Marti's credentials include: |
- Degrees in English and Speech/Communications from Adrian College, Michigan;
- Additional training in Customer Service, Marketing, and Desktop Publishing;
- Published in international magazines such as Woman's Day and the American Radio Relay League's QST;
- Illinois State Teaching Certificate (grades 6-12), with experience teaching students in a variety of age groups (nearly from 'cradle to grave');
- Nineteen years of publicity and public relations experience;
- Fourteen years of experience in sales and marketing;
- Eight years of experience in technical writing;
- Twenty-nine years of experience in event planning and coordination;
- Computer experience dating from the Commodore VIC-20 in 1983 (!);
- A computer-related skill set that includes word processing, desktop publishing, databases and spreadsheets, basic web design, internet, and graphics;
- Eighteen years of successful entrepreneurship.
